Avery Reitzel
Competitive Team Coach
Miss Avery has been dancing since the age of three and has trained extensively in tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and musical theatre. Her lifelong passion for dance has inspired her both as a performer and an instructor, and she truly values the time she spends in the studio.
Avery began teaching at just 13 years old in the recreational program at her studio, working with dancers of all ages—from Music & Movement classes to junior and adult tap. At 15, she choreographed her first competitive routine, and she has continued to teach and choreograph for competitive dancers ever since.
Following high school, Avery expanded her teaching career by instructing at both at her home studio Quinte Elite Dance Team and Kingston Danceforce Studios while completing her post-secondary education. She recently became a certified Zumba instructor, where she is qualified to teach classes internationally.
Outside of the dance studio, Avery is a full-time student pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at St. Lawrence College in Kingston. Her background in health care and healthy living brings a strong sense of discipline, compassion, teamwork, and student well-being to every class she teaches.
Miss Avery is passionate about creating a positive and encouraging environment where dancers can build confidence, develop strong technique, and discover a lifelong love of dance. She looks forward to continuing to share her passion with her students while growing as both an instructor and choreographer.
