Jenna Gosson

Recreational + Competitive Team Coach

Jenna’s journey with QEDT began long before she became a teacher, she was, in many ways, the inspiration behind its creation. After growing up as a competitive dancer, Jenna’s passion for dance, training, and performance helped inspire a different vision for what a competitive dance studio could be.

Throughout her dance life so far, Jenna has had the opportunity to represent Canada internationally as a member of Team Canada Dance, competing in Slovenia in 2022. She was also selected through audition for Camp Protégé, an experience that ultimately led to an invitation to join The Bridge Movement, an exclusive pre-professional training program in the United States led by renowned Canadian choreographer and educator Stacey Tookey.

Jenna spent three years training with The Bridge Movement, immersing herself in an intensive environment focused on artistry, versatility, performance, and professional development. After completing the program, she returned home to Canada and to QEDT, where she now shares that experience as both a teacher and choreographer.

Committed to continuing her education and developing a deeper understanding of how to train dancers safely and effectively, Jenna is currently completing her Foundations Certification, under the world-renowned Anneke Hansen, and will be fully certified in early 2027. The comprehensive 125-hour program explores kinaesthetic anatomy as it relates to dance, injury prevention and recovery, structural assessment, tissue health, exercise and class design, and effective and ethical teaching practices. Its focus on preparing and supporting the dancing body aligns closely with Jenna’s own approach to helping dancers develop strong technique while protecting their long-term health and well-being.

Having experienced QEDT first as a dancer and now as one of the educators helping shape its future, Jenna brings a unique perspective to the studio. She is passionate about helping young dancers build strong foundations, discover their individual artistry, and develop the confidence to pursue whatever path in life is right for them.
